Nebraska City, Nebraska Hires City Administrator
Mayor Bryan Bequette and the Nebraska City City Council are excited to announce the appointment of Perry Mader as the City’s next City Administrator. Perry Mader is the current City Administrator for Mitchell, Nebraska, and has been a local government management professional since 2006. Mader has a Bachelor of Arts in Travel, Tourism, and Geography from the University of Nebraska, Kearney, Nebraska.
The City engaged GovHR USA to assist the City in this executive recruitment process. The City received interest from fourteen applicants from seven states including five from Nebraska. The City brought in two finalists to interview for the City Administrator position on March 6, 2023.
Mader was unanimously selected to fill the seat by the City Council. Mader and the City have agreed to contractual terms and the City Council is scheduled to ratify his employment agreement during their next regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Monday, March 20th.
Mader is scheduled to begin employment with the City on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
