City Budget:  The City of Nebraska City Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget is available to be viewed. You can access this document as well as previous Fiscal Year budgets by clicking this link and navigating to the 2024-2025 Budget.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact City Hall and speak with the City Administrator or any of the specific Commissioners or Department Heads that apply to the department you have questions about. The design, formation, approval and implementation of the City Budget is possibly the single most important annual function of the Governing Body. The budget serves as the primary business plan for the City as every budgeted expense is a showing of the direction the City is going to take in the next fiscal year.

Redevelopment Plan: The City of Nebraska City Redevelopment Plan can be accessed by clicking this link. General Redevelopment Plans as well as Blight and Substandard Studies are vital for the use of Tax Increment Financing (TIF), a very important tool made available to Municipalities by the State Statutes to combat blight and substandard conditions.

Economic Development Plan: The City of Nebraska City 2017-2027 Economic Development Plan can be accessed by clicking this link. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Agency office and speak with Dan Mauk. This plan was approved by the citizens of the City of Nebraska City on the November 8th ballot. We are encouraging applicable parties to review this plan and apply! If you wish to apply, stop by City Hall to pick up an application.

Comprehensive Development Plan: The City of Nebraska City 2016 Comprehensive Development Plan, Transportation Plan, and Traffic Demand Model Technical Report are available to be viewed. You can access each of these documents by clicking this link. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact City Hall and speak with the City Administrator. We would like to once again thank all those who participated in the process of creating this very important document. This document will help provide guidance to the City Council for years to come.
