HELP WANTED:

WILDWOOD GOLF PRO SHOP – The City of Nebraska City is looking for seasonal employees to work at the Wildwood Golf Pro Shop. Applicants must be 19 years of age or older, strongly motivated, energetic, friendly, and have a positive customer service attitude. Duties may include but are not limited to: serving alcohol, customer service, cleaning, and basic food preparation.  Nights, holidays and weekends are expected. Start March 1st through November, 2021.  Applications can be printed off from this site OR picked up and returned to City Hall at 1409 Central Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410. WILDWOOD GOLF COURSE – The City of Nebraska City is looking for seasonal employees to serve as golf course laborers at the Wildwood Golf Course.  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, strongly motivated, energetic, friendly, and have a positive customer service attitude. STEINHART AQUATIC CENTER – The Steinhart Aquatic Center is taking Applications for Seasonal Employment Opportunities for the 2021 swim season. Positions open include: Assistant Managers, Lifeguards and Concessions Workers.

  • Applicants for Assistant Manager positions must be at least 18 years of age, possess or be able to obtain a Nebraska Pool Operator’s License, current Lifeguard Certification, current CPR/Basic First Aid Certification. Previous pool experience is a plus.
  • Applicants for Lifeguard position must be at least 15 years of age and possess or be able to obtain current Lifeguard Certification, CPR/Basic First Aid Certification.
  • Applicants for Concessions Workers positions must be at least 15 years of age and possess or be able to obtain CPR/Basic First Aid Certification.

These seasonal positions are non-exempt and are expected to begin roughly on May 15, 2021 and conclude on or around August 8, 2021. Pay is dependent upon qualifications and experience. PARKS DEPARTMENT – The City of Nebraska City is looking for seasonal employees to work as Parks laborers in the City’s Park system. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, strongly motivated, energetic, friendly and have a positive customer service attitude. This position may include some weekend hours.

Duties will include, but not limited to mowing, weed trimming, painting, ball field preparation and basic upkeep of the City’s Park facilities. For additional information, please contact Raymond Doiel, Parks Superintendent at 402-873-8138. Position starting date will be in March and extend through October, 2021.

Applications are available to be picked up or dropped off at the Parks Maintenance Office (2190 4th Corso), City Hall (1409 Central Avenue) or the Parks and Recreation Office (1902 4th Corso).
