NEBRASKA CITY - NEBRASKA CITY - City commissioners approved a $50,000 Growth Fund loan to help an established Nebraska City chiropractic office transition into a new chiropractor.
Dr. Addison Palser, an Auburn resident who lists the class of 2025 at Cleveland University in Kansas City on her Facebook page, is working at Comfort Family Chiropractic in Lincoln until Aug. 20.
She plans to work with chiropractor Rod McGinley at 1218 Central Ave. as he moves toward a part-time capacity and an eventual consulting role.
Palser: “Our biggest goal is to continue this local business to keep it open and successful. … I want to continue to serve the patients he is currently seeing, as well as bringing in new people.”
The Growth Fund loan would be used for working capital and start-up expenses. Office renovations and renaming are planned in 2027.
