DUTIES (for complete description, see the City Administrator):
The City of Nebraska City from time to time is awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing funds to be used for income-based qualified homeowners to rehabilitate their homes.
The Advisory Committee is tasked with:
- Reviewing Rehabilitation Program Guidelines
- Develop Promotional Plans
- Review Applications
- Authorize Projects to obtain Contractor bids
- Make a recommendation to the City Council
This Committee is only active when there is an active CDBG Housing Rehab grant awarded to the City of Nebraska City.
APPOINTMENT & COMPOSITION:
Appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.
