Snow
Emergency
|
May be declared by the City Street Commissioner to enforce a parking ban in the designated snow emergency routes. Under such declaration, cars parked on the snow emergency route may be ticketed and or towed. Sign up for e-Notifications to receive any City Alerts and/or News. |
| Mailboxes |
The city will plow the snow within the confines of curb line to curb line of a street, as permitted by parked cars. The adjacent resident will be responsible for clearing the snow around the mailbox to ensure delivery of mail. The city will NOT repair damage to mailboxes caused by snow clearing efforts. It is the resident’s responsibility to ensure their mailbox is properly and securely installed behind the curb line and able to withstand snow clearing operations by the city.
