This department works closely with other city divisions — such as the Street Department and Parks & Rec — to coordinate work that keeps Nebraska City’s public properties in excellent condition and enhances the quality of life across the community.
Public Properties include all areas owned and maintained by the City of Nebraska City, including the Wildwood Historical Center, Wyuka Cemetery, the Veterans Memorial Building, and all public streets. Nebraska City is committed to maintaining all public streets and properties in an effective, efficient, and responsible manner to serve the needs of the community.
