Effective October 1, 2023, the Local Sales Tax decreased by ½ percent due to the NCRA Bond being paid off.
Please adjust your local sales tax collection to 7% if you have not already done so.

Nebraska City 2024
Overlay Locations
Concrete construction being completed in April and Asphalt paving in May timeframe. This project is part of our one-year street plan and is being funded using Highway Allocation and Surface Transportation Funds. Project will consist of: Mill and overlay of existing asphalt, ADA ramps at intersections, some curb/gutter, some sidewalk replacement, driveway approaches and final grading/seeding. Any street markings will be completed by the street department at completion of the project.
