HELP WANTED: The Nebraska City Street Department is accepting applications for a Public Property Maintenance Worker II position. Applicants should have some knowledge of heavy equipment operations, concrete work, tree trimming and general maintenance. Should be able to lift 100 lbs. and have a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus). Full time position with benefits. HELP WANTED: The Steinhart Aquatic Center is taking Applications for Seasonal Employment Opportunities for the 2019 swim season. Positions open include: Assistant Managers, Lifeguards and Concessions Workers.
- Applicants for Assistant Manager positions must be at least 18 years of age, possess or be able to obtain a Nebraska Pool Operator’s License, current Lifeguard Certification, current CPR/Basic First Aid Certification. Previous pool experience is a plus.
- Applicants for Lifeguard position must be at least 15 years of age and possess or be able to obtain current Lifeguard Certification, CPR/Basic First Aid Certification.
- Applicants for Concessions Workers positions must be at least 15 years of age and possess or be able to obtain CPR/Basic First Aid Certification.
These seasonal positions are non-exempt and are expected to begin roughly on May 1, 2019 and conclude on or around August 11, 2019. Pay is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
